Survivors who have completed a Healing Week are invited to participate in these training modules as a way of continuing thier healing journey through deepening thier understanding of trauma in its many facets.

Health professionals will also find this course will enhance thier skills when working with survivors of childhood trauma. Psychologists, Counsellors, Support workers, Carers. 

Teachers, parents, siblings and friends of survivors of childhood trauma are encouraged to attend, and will find this training a valuable asset, in being able to understand the complexities of challenging behavior and how to effectively relate to survivors in an empowering way, with understanding. 

Attendees will:

1. Have the knowldge and critical understanding of the research and theoretical basis for the Heal For Life model and Trauma Informed Support. 

2. Be able to work effectively and compassionately with survivors of childhood trauma. 

3. Be able to educate others on the impact of trauma on behavior and personality. 

4. Gain a qualification that you can utilse to help survivors of trauma. 

Students who are enrolled in the Certificate of Trauma Healing are required to complete the modules, which will provide a conceptual framework for understanding the theoretical knowledge and practice behind the Heal For Life model. They will be given the opportunity to explore the relevance of the theoretical themes within their own lives as well as in the lives of survivors. Each module will be assessed by both written and practical application. 

Heal For Life recognises that students will come from varying educational backgrounds and wishes to encourage those who have not completed formal education to attend. Students will be supported in all aspects of thier learning. 

The cost to attend all seven modules is $1750. 

Individual modules are available at $300 per module. 

An earlybird discount is available to those who pay in full for all 7 modules prior to the 7th Feb at $1500. 

The prices include accomodation at Hennesy House for the duration of the training for the in-person modules.
